We are very pleased to share with you that our organisation, through our two organic shops (in Château-d’Œx and Zweisimmen), has been nominated for the Prix Montagne 2020.
For us, being nominated means recognition of our ongoing commitment to sustainability, the contribution to protecting and respecting biodiversity, a higher level of awareness of how we produce and consume, and a closer relationship between local producers and consumers.
An additional prize of CHF 20,000 offered by the Swiss insurance company La Mobilière is also awarded to one of the six nominees under the name “Prix Montagne du Public” (Prix Montagne Audience Prize).
Voters can now choose their favourite project on the Swiss Aid to Mountain Peoples (Aide Suisse aux montagnards) website.
Online voting for the Prix Montagne Audience Prize is open until 19 November.
The Prix Montagne Audience Prize will be awarded simultaneously with the Jury’s Prize on Thursday, 10 December in Bern.

Thank you very much for your participation and don’t forget to share with your friends and family! Every vote counts!
Each year, the Prix Montagne is awarded to projects that create added value and jobs, while contributing to the economic diversification of the Swiss mountain regions. The Swiss Grouping for Mountain Regions (SAB) and Swiss Aid to Mountain Peoples award the Prix Montagne, which is endowed with CHF 40,000.
“Votre Cercle de Vie shows that the demand for sustainably produced food is not only an urban trend, but it responds to a real need of the entire population. I find the tight bond between producers and consumers fascinating.”
