The famous Italian diver Enzo Maorca was diving in the warm sea of Syracuse, and talking to his daughter Rossana who was on the boat.
Ready to dive, he felt something hit him slightly on the back.
Turning around, he saw a dolphin, and then realized that he did not want to play, but rather wanted to express something to him.
The animal dove in, and Enzo followed him.
At a depth of about 12 meters, stuck in an abandoned net, there was another dolphin.
Enzo quickly returned to the surface and asked his daughter to give him his diving knives without waiting.
In a few minutes, he managed to free the dolphin, which, at the end of its strength, managed to emerge by emitting an almost human scream ′′ (thus described the Enzo Maorca).
A dolphin can remain in apnea underwater for up to 10 minutes and then drowns.
The dolphin, freed but dizzy, was under the attention of Enzo, Rossana and the other dolphin, when a surprise arrived. It was a female that would soon give birth.
The male stopped in front of Enzo, touched his cheek (as if it was a kiss), and then moved away.
Enzo Maïorca then said: ′′ Until man learns to respect and interact with the animal world, he will never know his true role on this earth”.
