Veni, vidi, vici… Barbara Steudler is a total SHE woman ! She not only runs a family with 4 kids, but stands behind this awesome project Nice Future, which, since 15 years, contributes to bring more joy, consciousness, love, consideration into our world. The project is mainly based in the French part of Switzerland, but her connections reach far beyond. She is one of these humans who does everything she does for enhancing the wellbeing of our planet and its habitants and for reducing our human impact on the environment. Her values are inclusiveness, sharing, joy, listening, kindness, generosity, beauty and humour. She wishes to enable everyone to become an artist of their own life by their choices, their acts and their consciousness animating them, by encouraging people to make a masterpiece of their life and to contribute to the creation of this new world. She’s also the initiator of the Festival de la Terre which has been taking place in Lausanne since twelve years, the G21, an event linking the economical, academicals and state circles, the actors of the transition and the wise persons of our time and the Slow Design & Fashion Days which are committed to promoting ethical fashion in order to link form and content, consciousness and matter through a completely innovative vision.
The first time we met really, was on an escalator at the G21! She went down, me up! Some lady speakers already asked me to assist the women’s conference at the G21, but when we crossed, she invited me shorthand to join her on the panel. The next time we met, was in her Nice Lab in la Montagne Alternative for a whole weekend where I got the great revelation that we work in order to create richness for the earth!!! What else? And again after, it got very clear that we had a lot to do together! But all this was still BEFORE she started the great movement to protect the Amazonas Surui Indians and their 250’000 hectars of land from the wood, gold and diamand pouchers that are since the beginning of the year destroying this awesome so important natural reserve!!! This was BEFORE herself started to feel the great impact she had with her project on humans and even politics!!! Please let’s all help her and NiceFuture in their undertakings… So grateful to have her with us on the Advisory Council Board.
