Dear friends,
Christmas is approaching quickly. I don’t know about you, but my heart always feels joyful in this month of December.
For the past few days, I’ve been in the Paris region at my parents’ house, and Mother Nature gifted me an encounter with a forest being: an extraordinary juvenile soul, a young deer! Today, I want to talk to you about magic!
The first meeting was brief, but in that moment, my heart was racing, as I’ve always dreamed of meeting a stag or a doe while walking in the forest!
On the second day, during a moment of “watching and waiting,” patience bore fruit: I found myself face to face with this young deer, which let me approach (so much so that my phone conveniently stopped working just as I was about to take a photo).
It was perfect. Even though I regretted not being able to capture this magnificent gaze with my camera, I realized I needed to disconnect from my mobile phone to truly connect with my “natural antennas”!
I had the privilege of meditating and communing with this young deer for two hours, face to face! Since then, I can still feel its energy.
It accepted my presence. I kept my distance, respecting its sacred environment. I felt as though I was in an energetic space, wrapped in a mantle of white light. Like the deer, I could feel the Earth vibrating.
Silence was our instrument of connection, accompanied by the cries of crows, falling oak branches, and the rustling of leaves stirred by the wind.
After following it for a long time, carefully placing each step on the wet ground to avoid causing alarm, fully aware that I was dealing with a hypersensitive being, it finally found its resting place atop a hill in the forest of Marly-le-Roi.
I must admit, it was a “first” – a chance, a present, a precious gift given to me, and one I gave myself by making myself “available” in this infinite time in its majestic presence.
Everything within me “smiled,” marveling at such grace. I was ecstatic, like a six-year-old child!
And today, I want to honor this gift, to “give thanks.”
That’s why I’m sharing this story with you.
I wondered what it was searching for, as it intently dug the earth, brushing away leaves with its hooves in deep concentration. They must enjoy feeling their body in direct connection with the Earth.
I truly felt its belonging to the Earth. It lives in a symbiotic relationship with it, much like dolphins do with the sea.
From the deer, I felt total trust. It feels so good to remember this state of being and not to get swept away by the fears circulating today. Nevertheless, I understand the worries of farmers struggling with debt.
What elegance this animal exudes, what gentleness emanates from this soul, what beauty, what delicate grace.
This is the vibration I wish to offer you. Over the years, I’ve come to understand that these animal souls crossing my path often appear as guides, as messengers of Spirit, of the orchestra of life.
The gift, the invitation from this encounter, could also be expressed in English as:
“Surrender” – to “let go,” to yield to something greater than ourselves,
to stop thinking and simply be together in this sacred space, where communion can happen.
We “tamed” each other.
And it was because I respected it that it accepted me.
In this time of media noise, where politicians clash and tear each other apart,
I amuse myself imagining discussion circles of all kinds in the forest.
It would benefit them to spend time listening to the silence of nature, then communicating together more calmly. They might even be “inspired” to forge alliances, despite their differences.
Nature is a teacher with wise advice.
When we no longer have “the keys” to unlock the door to a bright future, with no visibility or solutions,
nature is an ally.
Connecting in silence is a source of inspiration.
So, dear friends, I wish for you this December to welcome the energy of the deer into your heart and to offer your inner child that innocence and purity.
I hope you savor this state of wonder, of curiosity, of lightness, of softness – of opening your heart, which will shine like rays of sunlight all around you!
These states are not opposed to lucidity or discernment.
They are a balance.
Great news: Marineland in Antibes will permanently close its doors on January 5!
Even if the future of these captive dolphins and orcas remains “uncertain,” this is a significant step, a sign of liberation in progress.
I hope you give and receive plenty of wonderful gifts, but don’t forget the essential: to pause during these turbulent times – to nurture your heart and honor the beauty within and around you.
Despite the hunters’ gunshots rumbling around us,
I saw this deer remain “aligned,” serene like a prince, proud in its kingdom.
The Earth may seem asleep, yet it offers us the chance to feel life at work within us.
This is our grounding, our golden thread, our hope.
I will always remember this face-to-face encounter with this Being of the forest, this moment of unity and communion.
Its energy of inner stability, fullness, and grace inspires me today, and I hope it will inspire you as you move toward the new year.
Go to the forest – you will feel this blessing, I assure you.
Thank you, Mother Nature, and thank you, dear deer.
With love to all of you,
Frédérique
