Hello. I am just an ordinary girl who was about to end her career, because of stereotypes. My story began 3 years ago when I got married. I had just graduated my university and got a bachelor’s degree. My dream was to continue my education and get a good job because I did not imagine my life without this. But something unexpected happened. My family forced me to marry someone who did not encourage my further education. I was disappointed and upset. But I decided to get along with this since everyone told that I needed just to build my family, I needed to have a baby because that was the aim of life and I thought I should not struggle against this. But God’s decision was completely different. One day I met an old friend in the park, where I was having a walk. I was very sad and I decided to tell her about my life and the abrupt changes in that. She stayed silent for a moment, and then she talked. She told me her life story. It was very touching … She had refused everything in her life for her husband and her children. She gave up her education, her job, even – her relatives. But something had happened and her husband had left her with kids. She had remained all alone, without anything. She told she was in a panic, she was in stress and it took a long time to recover and come back to life. She just advised me to review my decision, because I would never know whether my sacrifice was worth the results or not.
I am the same ordinary girl now. I have a family, a kid and … I have my master’s degree and I have a very promising job. I have all my dreams carried out and I am happy. I know that when a girl gets married, she should be devoted to her family. But this does not mean that the girl’s dreams should die. If you have a loving husband, a caring family, and a strong will, you can combine anything in life. I have thought how my life would be like if I agreed to become a housewife, and whatever comes to my mind, I believe that this was the best choice not only for me but also for my husband and my kid! There is no one in the world that can believe and trust you more than you because they will never know and will never imagine how far you can go!
