An invitation to follow an inspiring example…
Number One is a Skate and Snowboardshop in the heart of the idyllic city Lucerne in the middle of Switzerland. Since many years, and even before, Jeremy Sochin, originally out of America, leads here a shop not like the others. Its first motivation… passion for boardsports and nature… its second motivation… ethic, fair trade and sustainability! The brands you can find in his shop, which is ‘not’ heated for ecological concerns, are: PICTURE ORGANIC CLOTHING, Arbor, Hoodlamb, Early Rider, Egg, Pyua and Loaded Skateboards to name a few.
But Jeremy is much more than a shop owner, he’s a father of two kids, and looks greatly after them half of the day, as he limited his working hours at 6h a day, 5 days a week. This is the time he agrees to earn money for living. The rest of the time, he offers it to his wife, kids and passions. Next time you’re in Lucerne, be sure to stop by, breath in the air of authenticity and let yourself get embarked in Jeremy’s Vision of a sustainable world, which is clearly defined and focused, and which give his whole life the direction.
