Dear Friends,
We probably all know – even without realizing it – people around us who have experienced sexual abuse at some point in their lives.
And yet, very few speak about it. The topic remains a deep taboo in our society.
To bring light into this shadow, we have recently founded the non-profit association Light on Shadow – an artistic initiative initiated by portrait photographer Benny Tache,(President of the Association), Stéphanie Jardon-El Hiny (Mediator, Palo Alto therapist, Co-President) and Coco Tache, (ethical journalist, connector, and Head of Communication).
Light on Shadow invites those affected to:
– reconnect with their dignity through sensitive and powerful portraits
– share their story in words and on video
– and, if they wish, receive therapeutic support during the process
