A life built on passion and awareness of responsibilities. Together with Alpine Initiatives, he helps engage the snow sports community to get active in sustainable initiatives that connect people and the planet. JP lives the life that seems the most adequate for him and tries to keep all his undertakings in balance.
Wednesday, 1st October 14, during our Women in Boardsports Conference, the so sad message reached us that JP Auclair lost his life in an avalanche, together with two of his close friends Andreas Fransson and the backcountry snowboarder Liz Daley. Our thoughts go to his family, his wife and baby, and to the whole freeride community to whom he was a father of a beautiful way of thinking and a huge inspiration! Thank you, JP, for the great example and path you have set. We’ll continue to spread your word.
