In her book “Children of Light” Swiss author Elsbeth Maurer spoke about her daughter Joy as she was experiencing the world in a new way. Joy is now 24 and is involved in a big Buddhist movement called Dhammakaya. Although the interview was made in 2011, it is still up-to-date with all her thoughts and visions. She remembers her early childhood, reveals her love for animals and nature, explains how she got in contact with Thailand and the Buddhist philosophy, how she sees the future and gives her personal advice: “Wake up, get out of the box and have faith in your own power!” The interview is more than half an hour but I didn’t want to shorten it because so many things are important to hear and reflect upon in today’s world.
