The brainchild of a doctor, an industrial designer and a finance major, Conscious Step begun as the idea that an everyday fashion necessity – the humble sock – could become a means for everyday people to contribute to solving the world’s greatest problems. Each design in our range of 168 needle, fairtrade and organic fashion socks is matched to an important social cause.
For each pair sold, a fixed dollar value is donated to a charitable organization fighting to solve a social, environmental or economic injustice. This way, each pair of Conscious Steps creates a clearly demonstrable impact. Be it feeding three children in Kenya, planting thirty trees in Ghana, or building schools in Nepal, each pair is a conscious step toward a better future.
