The spirit to succeed: Keep walking! It was 2004 when Yves had his snowboard accident and broke his spine. Since that moment, an again all odds, he knew that he’d walk again one day! And he has done everything FOR it! His life since the accident has been a continuity of learning, progressing and teaching. He has gone through the worst, through all imaginable surgeries, and through all the trainings and understandings that worked for him. Today, he KNOWS that the technique he has developed over the years, the collaborations he has all around the world with scientists, center owner, WORKS! And he understands that his MISSION, his purpose in life, is offering his know-how, his love, to the people in the same desperate situation he was once. Yves life is all about contributing, growing, showing the world that even if you think that you can never walk again while paralyzed, there are ways to gain movement and joy! The Swiss Recovery Center is going to be the place where people concerned with the topic find solutions and answers to their questions, find the open ear and motivations to continue walking, where they find a family, deeply understanding that they are not alone.
