The Indians said: “One day in the future, animals will begin to disappear. People won’t see wolves, bears or eagles. The giant trees will disappear too. People will fight against each other and stop loving each other. The beautiful rainbow will gradually fade, and people will never see another.
And then the children will come. And those children will love the animals, and they’ll bring the animals back. They’ll love the trees, and they’ll bring back the giant trees. And these children will love and help other people live in peace with each other. These children will love the rainbow, and make it reappear in the sky.
That’s why the Indians call these children “Rainbow Warriors”.
If you love animals, trees, people and rainbows, then maybe you’re the rainbow warriors.

Hope for the world.
Today, in the night of the world and in hope, I affirm my faith in the future of humanity.
I refuse to believe that current circumstances render mankind incapable of building a better world.
I refuse to share the opinion of those who claim that man is so captive to the night that the dawn of peace and brotherhood can never become a reality.
I believe that truth and love, unconditionally, will indeed have the last word”.
