Thursday 7 November in Lausanne an enthusiastic audience came to attend the 8th 7sky.life. On the theme “Dream & Dare” the organizers had a full house. Proof that hope is as alive as the desire to be more actively engaged on the path of change.
Messages are flowing on the 7sky.life platform. They say they are happy to have been able to attend these inspiring conferences and the joy of celebrating change in action and not, as a participant from the Swiss German part pointed out, to limit themselves to talking about it. It was Marianne Sébastien, leader of the organisation Voix Libres, who opened this 8th edition by making the audience sing in unison in a fantastic collective energy. The “la” was thus posed, transforming each spectator into an actor of the event through the power of his voice. This true impulse of communion therefore opened the way to listen with the heart to the speakers who came to witness their transformative experience and how they moved from dream to another reality, much richer in meaning.
Journalist Isabelle Alexandrine Bourgeois recounted how and why she left the roborative circuit of the mainstream media to try the human adventure of Joy for the Planet to sow, reap, spread joy aboard her Begoodee camper. During her journey, the reporter realized that she was living happier with 150 CHF per week, including gasoline, than before on a very comfortable salary. Jérémy Rochette and Julien Durant bring a great deal of freshness to traditional business models. The success of Picture Organic Clothing proves that a company can be in step with major societal changes and current ecological challenges while pursuing a serene and ethical economic development. Claudio Alessi won the hearts of the public through his personal story that inspired him with a sense of surpassing himself and a highly contagious energy to help people with disabilities through his association No Difference. Finally, Jacques Rosset, a teacher of sacred geometry and architect of the living, made the public understand that each of us carries within us the Phi code, this divine proportion contained in the harmony and beauty of the forms of nature of which our body is only an emanation.
The interventions accompanied by Yves Ruhlmann at the piano, interspersed with moments of pure artistic magic, galvanized the audience. Samah Gayed with her unifying dance OneDance produced a kinetic effect on stage, a real enchantment of colour and movement. Virtuoso pianist Cesar Correa and natural born mover Celina Hwang gave a duo improvisation in an extraordinary complicity and dramatic intensity. Finally, the incredible singer Kimka, suffering from a degenerative disease, is an example for all of us. Her interpretation and courage deeply moved the audience.
An intention arose during the 8th edition of the 7sky.life Connection. For Coco Tache, at the initiative of these meetings organized since 2016, the success of this last edition proves that the message has found a powerful resonance within its audience. Nothing is stronger than an idea whose time has come, said Victor Hugo. And from the public’s enthusiasm at the Casino de Montbenon, it seems that we are on time to work individually and collectively in the world of tomorrow!
Coco Tache, Baptiste Delalay and 7sky’s team of volunteers would like to thank the speakers for the quality of their conferences, the artists for creating the magic and the public for their support and active participation in the success of the event. We look forward to seeing you on June 4, 2020 for a next 7sky.life Connection.
